Kaitlin Hooker

University of Arizona

Kaitlin is a senior at the University of Arizona majoring in English and Political Science with an emphasis in Foreign Affairs. Last summer she interned in D.C. for Running Start, a non-profit that trains high-school age women to run for political office, and fell in love with the city and the organization’s mission. She then spent last semester working on an independent expenditure campaign through the Feminist Majority to elect Hillary Clinton for President and Ann Kirkpatrick for US Senate.

After two devastating losses, she decided to get back to working to elect progressive, pro-choice women to office, which is what brought her to Arizona List. After graduation she hopes to move to D.C. and continue working towards women’s rights and the passing of the Equal Rights Amendment. She loves living in Tucson and some of her hobbies are reading, biking and hiking on our many trails!
