Emily Verdugo is the recently elected chair of the Arizona Hispanic Caucus and Vice-Chairwoman of the Arizona Democratic Party. A native of Ajo, Emily studied political science at ASU and public administration at NAU. She is the former Outreach Director for the Pima County Democratic Party and kept 2014 a solid year for Tucson Democrats. She also conducted a successful coordinated campaign in 2013 Tucson City Council elections. Former Councilmember for the City of Coolidge and employee of Pinal County, Emily has a deep understanding of rural Arizona. In 2012, she was an Arizona List endorsed candidate for the legislature and we know there are more races to come. On top of all of this, Emily is the mother of two great boys. Congratulations Emily!
