Dawn Shim is a rising junior at Hamilton High School. They are very interested in advocacy and public policy as a frequent attendee of rallies and civic engagement events. They also run a student-interest advocacy group to establish equitable legislation and actions in favor of minority and LGBTQ+ youth which can be found on Instagram as @supportequalityazschools. In their free time, they enjoy making jewelry, reading and playing violin. They hope that their internship with Arizona List will bring them more insight into public policy at the local level.
