Alexis is a junior at Northern Arizona University studying political science, international affairs, and French. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana but went to high school in Tucson, Arizona. She spent the majority of 2017 living in Brussels, Belgium learning about international organizations’ impact on state sovereignty, and trying her hardest to explain American politics in French.
When not interning, Alexis spends her time TAing for beginner French courses, participating in an undergraduate research pod, and doing yoga. She is passionate about women’s political empowerment and representation within local, state, and the federal government. Alexis is looking forward to making a difference through Arizona List!
