Running for Coconino Board of Supervisors 1
Patrice co-founded a successful law firm and practiced law in Northern Arizona for over 40 years. In 2020, Patrice was elected to the Coconino County Board of Supervisors, District 1. She was, thereafter, elected as Chair of the Board and served as Chair from February 2021 through August 2023. As chair, Patrice demonstrated leadership through crisis during the County’s responses to COVID, the Museum Fire’s post wildfire flooding, last year’s devastating Tunnel and Pipeline wildfires, and the over 50 flooding events that followed. Patrice led in the ARPA funding investment in the County, including developing partnerships with nonprofits to provide necessary community social services. During her tenure as chair, Patrice also oversaw the passage of the Short Term Rental, Renewable Energy, and Dark Sky ordinances. Patrice’s family, friends, community, and love for the great outdoors are central to her life and have shaped a commitment to public service, advocacy, and community engagement. Her “People, Peaks and Pines” motto includes a deep commitment for public lands, the environment, diversity, and inclusion. Patrice has been a long time champion for women’s rights including fighting for women’s healthcare and the right to choose an abortion.
