Running for Glendale City Council
Lisa Baker is a champion for Glendale, the city she proudly calls home. She, her husband Shane and their daughter Natalie have lived in Glendale’s Barrel district since 2013. Raised in Glendale in a small-business family, Lisa formed a small business of her own as a local Realtor. Through her commitment, integrity, and experience she now specializes in corporate relocations as a Global Real Estate Advisor.
Since 2017, Lisa has volunteered with the City of Glendale on the Community Development Advisory Committee (Chair since 2020) and in leadership roles on four Citizen Bond Election Committees. She has worked with City staff and commissioners to make recommendations for services, infrastructure, housing, and community investments, and has advocated to secure funding for safer streets and public safety. Lisa is an active leader with the Glendale Chamber of Commerce, serving on Public Policy and DE&I committees, the Board of Directors, and as 2024 Board Chair. In 2025, she served as Interim President and CEO.
In her free time, she enjoys taking family road trips to the beach, taking the family to the tree lighting ceremony at Glendale Glitters and going to the park to walk their terrier, Mel.
