Amanda Steele is an engaged member of the community; working and advocating for those within this district. She has deep roots and a heart for this community as an Arizona native, a former Tempe Union High School District student, and a mother of a recent graduate. She has advocated for the most vulnerable, while supporting innovative ideas and suggestions that would benefit all students. She strongly supports teachers and believes that they need access to resources, tools, and supports to benefit all students. She believes all students should have access to the resources and tools to prepare them for post secondary opportunities. She has contributed to a strong school community through district initiatives, speaking up at board meetings, and leading events that highlighted the love she has for the district such as #ChalkinItUpWithLove.
