In honor of the Green Wave movement, Arizona List hosts a monthly series of Green Wave Gatherings as part of our commitment to building power for reproductive freedom.
The Green Wave, or La Marea Verde, began in Latin America as a grassroots movement for abortion access, symbolized by the now-iconic green scarf. Through sustained organizing and collective action, it has led to major victories and expanded reproductive rights for millions.
Each month, our gatherings center a different theme and bring together Arizona leaders, advocates, and candidates to connect, organize, and take action. Some events are virtual, others are in person, but all are rooted in growing this movement here in Arizona.
