Rekha Nair

Rekha is the daughter of Indian immigrants who grew up in the Valley.  She is a proud graduate of Arizona State University and the University of Pennsylvania Law School (L’12).  After law school, Rekha clerked for the Honorable Magistrate Judge Lois Bloom in the Eastern District of New York before returning home to Phoenix to pursue her passion, immigrant justice.  Rekha has been fighting to protect and expand the rights of immigrants and their families in Arizona for over a decade.  Since 2021, she has served as the Executive Director of the Phoenix Legal Action Network. The ability to control her reproductive health has allowed Rekha to live on her own terms and she is passionate about supporting Arizona List to ensure all women have autonomy over their bodies and the decision of if and when to have children.  Rekha loves chocolate, national parks, and spending time with her family and her pets (Patas and Manos); she abhors cancel culture and most fruit.
