Maya has been working to elect Democrats since she was nine years old. Now she’s a junior at the University of Arizona studying political science and history. She spent the last two years working on the Tucson City elections in 2017 as an intern, and then the 2018 midterm as a staff member at the Pima County Democratic Party. Her favorite thing to do (besides studying or working) is travel, and she plans to visit all seven continents someday.
