Liz Luna

2019

Liz Luna’s passion is political engagement. She is the proud daughter of immigrant parents with Southern México Indigenous roots. She was the first in her family to attend and graduate from a university. To this day, Liz is the only member of her family who can vote. She understands that every vote matters and that when we vote, we vote on the issues that impact us, our values and for our families.

In 2016, Liz jumped into the political arena to help elect Arizona women to office. In 2018 she was hired by Raquel Terán to manage her campaign for State House. Together, Liz and Raquel ran a focused, inclusive campaign. They knocked on tens of thousands of doors in the district. Raquel won her crowded primary by more than 1,800 votes, and was the top vote-getter in the November General Election. Liz is a firm believer that Arizona’s future will be shaped by pro-choice Democratic women who will fight for the values of our hard-working families.
