Running for Peoria City Council – Pine District

Eva Osuna is a lifelong Peoria resident whose family roots in the community span six generations. Having lived and worked in South Peoria for decades, Eva has built strong relationships with neighbors, local schools, community organizations, and city leaders. Her deep connection to the community has shaped her commitment to public service and her understanding of the issues facing Pine District families.

Eva is running for Peoria City Council to bring leadership that listens and ensures residents have a real voice in the decisions that affect their neighborhoods. Through conversations across the district, she has heard directly from residents who want greater transparency, stronger communication, and more investment in their community. Eva believes local government should be accessible, responsive, and focused on the everyday needs of the people it serves.

Her priorities include strengthening communication between City Hall and residents, supporting responsible economic development, and expanding access to neighborhood services, parks, and community spaces. Eva is especially committed to ensuring South Peoria receives the attention and investment it deserves. She is running to be a strong advocate for Pine District and to help build a more connected, informed, and thriving Peoria.
