Christine Dargon

Running for LD1 State Senate

Dr. Christine Dargon first became involved in politics during the 2007–2008 presidential campaign, when she was hired to serve as the public face of PrioritiesNH, a nonprofit, nonpartisan civic engagement organization. In that role, she met with thousands of residents and engaged with most of the presidential candidates, helping connect voters directly to the democratic process.

Since then, Christine has remained deeply committed to grassroots organizing and civic leadership. She has served as a Precinct Committeeperson, assisted with the abortion petition effort, and co-founded Indivisible Rimrock, Arizona, where she currently serves as Co-Chair. Rather than waiting for someone else to step forward, she chose to step up and lead.

Christine is proud to be a citizen advocate, not a career politician, and brings integrity, honesty, and accountability to her public service. She is passionate about a wide range of issues affecting both her local community and the state. Locally, she is focused on addressing the lake issue in Lake Montezuma. At the district and state level, her priorities include fully funding education, protecting water supply and quality, advancing common-sense gun safety laws, safeguarding free and fair elections, and ensuring accessible and affordable healthcare.

Chrsitine has worked in education and social services for more than 30 years. She has taught at colleges and universities since 1997 and is an entrepreneur and international speaker.
