Piper Jordan

Running for Tanque Verde Unified School District Governing Board

Piper Jordan is a longtime educator and community member with deep roots in the Tanque Verde Unified School District. After earning her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in New York, she spent 15 years as an art teacher. In 2011, she relocated to Arizona to join the Catalina Foothills District. She later brought her passion for teaching to TVUSD, where she retired from teaching art in 2024.

A devoted mother, Piper stepped away from the classroom to raise her children and returned to teaching just before the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic — an experience that deepened her appreciation for the resilience of students, teachers, and families alike. Today, she channels that same creativity and dedication into running a small local plant nursery, and spends her free time reading, gardening, and making art alongside her two children.

Piper is running for the Tanque Verde Unified Governing Board to give our school community a voice, bringing a teacher’s perspective, a parent’s heart, and a neighbor’s commitment to every decision.
