Running for Littleton Elementary School District Governing Board
Amy Soucinek is an educator, parent, and community leader with a deep personal connection to the Littleton Elementary School District. She is the proud parent of two children who attend LESD schools and a graduate of Tolleson Union High School District, the district that LESD feeds into. Her husband is an employee in the Tolleson Union High School District, making education a shared commitment for their family. LESD is not just a school district to Amy—it is part of her family’s story and a community she has been committed to serving for more than a decade.
Amy is a veteran educator with 20 years of classroom experience. She currently teaches science at an alternative high school serving students who have not found success in traditional schools. Her work focuses on helping students discover their strengths, overcome challenges, and find their path to success.
Amy has served on the Littleton Elementary School District Governing Board since 2013, including multiple terms as Board President and Vice President. She has helped shape district policy, approve budgets, evaluate leadership, and advocate for LESD at the state level.
Amy brings a teacher’s insight, a parent’s heart, a deep love for her community, and the experience to help guide the district she and her family call home.
