Kathy Kinsella has owned her home in Sedona for over ten years. She has over 25 years experience working in state and local government (AZ and NY) in both appointed and elected positions. She has worked on large-scale infrastructure and transportation issues, agency budgeting, and municipal management. Kathy’s broad background in community issues has well prepared her for service on the Sedona City Council. She has served as Vice Chair of Sedona’s City Planning and Zoning Commission, which oversees land use development review and design throughout the city. Kathy brings balanced judgment to the examination of complex projects. Kathy is the immediate past President of the League of Women Voters Greater Verde Valley, serves on the boards of the Democrats of the Red Rocks and PFLAG Sedona/Verde Valley (Parents, Friends, Lesbians, and Gays). She is an active volunteer with several local non-profits focusing on food insecurity, housing, civil rights, and justice and is the recipient of League of Women Voters Greater Verde Valley 2017 Citizen Engagement Award. She has a broad background in community advocacy and bringing all sides to the table to reach solutions on civic issues.
