Kimberly Outlaw Ryan is a native Arizonan. Born and raised in Page, she relocated to Tucson in 1996 on an honors scholarship to attend the University of Arizona where she completed a B.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology with minors in Chemistry, Calculus, and Physics, and Ballet in 2000. She achieved her Juris Doctor degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. As a public school teacher at Flowing Wells High School, she taught Biology and Chemistry when she decided to pursue her career in law and is currently Deputy General Counsel for the Tucson Airport Authority.
The mother of two children who have thrived in Amphitheater School District in the areas of academics, athletics, and the cultural arts, she is married of 20 years to a Captain at Golder Ranch Fire District and is also a small business owner. She is the daughter of a retired public school teacher of 30 years and an energy consultant, and is a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. In her spare time she can be found returning to her beloved Lake Powell National Recreation Area and Glenn Canyon National Park.
