Running for Chandler Unified School District Governing Board
Zeyna’s distinct experience brings a business mind-set and a heart of a teacher to serve her community. She is a proud public-school graduate and advocates for public schools in her community. As a current classroom teacher, she brings relevant experience in curriculum and student achievement strategies. She is focused on success for all students, expanding and protecting workforce development with a detail to fiscal oversight. She earned her graduate degree in Education from Arizona State University and her Business Administration degree through the University of Kansas.
Her family chose Chandler Unified School District for their two youngest children, who have graduated. She has volunteered with the Chandler Unified School district for 15 years, with Junior Achievement, Art Masterpiece, the Software Advisory Committee, Teen Violence Advisory Committee, 2025 Budget Committee for the Bond and Override, and recently the Superintendent Selection Committee. She volunteers with Save Our Schools for the Protect Education Act to bring transparency and accountability of public funds in education.
She believes in strong student-centered decision making to strengthen the future of education in her community.
