Running for Maricopa City Council
Chrystal O’Jon is a business owner, media professional, and community leader dedicated to strengthening the City of Maricopa through collaboration, transparency, and responsible growth. With more than 30 years of experience in marketing, media, and advocacy, she brings a business mindset to public service.
Chrystal founded the Maricopa Lifestyle Magazine, a platform that highlights local stories, supports small businesses, and connects residents, where she currently serves as Owner and Publisher. She is also the Co-Founder of the Black Maricopa Chamber of Commerce, where she advocates for minority-owned businesses and economic opportunity. She is a graduate of the University of Phoenix where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and an MBA. Her background includes years in entertainment management and nonprofit leadership, including work supporting veterans and community-centered initiatives; and she is also an appointed PC in LD16.
A dedicated volunteer and advocate now running for office for the second time, Chrystal is committed to supporting youth, seniors, veterans, and creating a safe and inclusive environment in Maricopa City.
