Sara Travise is running for SRP District 6 Council because she wants to serve as a trusted resource for her neighbors – providing clarity on what it means to have SRP as our energy and water provider, and ensuring our community understands how decisions made today affect reliability, cost, and long-term sustainability.
For more than a decade, Sara has built her career in cybersecurity, actively defending enterprise networks and critical systems. In this field, she learned the importance of asking hard questions, speaking up when risks arise, and holding vendors accountable to the people they serve. These skills translate directly to public service, where transparency, oversight, and informed decision-making matter.
Sara believes that SRP customers deserve clear communication, responsible leadership, and strong advocacy. Sara’s goal is to bring a thoughtful, security-minded approach to the SRP District 6 Council and work in the best interest of our community
