Running for LD14 State House
Mary Rose is a third-generation Arizona native with a lifelong commitment to public service, fairness, and community. Raised in a middle-income family in the West Phoenix/Glendale area, she learned early the values of honesty, hard work, and treating others with respect from her mother and father who worked hard to provide for Mary and her two brothers. She has lived in the East Valley since 1984 and proudly calls Gilbert home.
Mary’s great aunt, Ana Frohmiller, made history in Arizona politics as the first woman to run for Governor and then serving 25 years as State Auditor. Inspired by her work, Mary Rose worked on Raúl Castro’s gubernatorial campaign before beginning a career in the private sector. With a background in human resources and purchasing, she held roles at major companies including General Dynamics and Motorola, where she learned the importance of balancing innovation with responsibility.
Since retiring, Mary Rose spends her time volunteering with arts, humanitarian, and animal welfare organizations in her community. She loves music, singing, and taking care of animals. She is a strong believer in equality, equal pay for equal work, and is running for the state legislature to stand up for the rights of others.
