Aiden “Addie” Swallow served nearly 20 years of honorable military intelligence service in the United States Army, culminating in the rank of Sergeant First Class (E-7) and deploying to combat zones in both Iraq and Afghanistan. After nearly 20 years of service, she was wrongfully kicked in 2025 for her transgender identity.
Addie grew up in poverty and understands first hand what it means to live paycheck to paycheck, knowing one emergency means maybe sacrificing food for healthcare. Oftentimes her mother would only have 20 dollars to last the week. Addie’s military service got her out of poverty and a college education. After the 2025 Presidential Inauguration, Addie Had enough. She could not be a silent millennial any longer.

Addie joined politics to make a difference, not because politics calls her. What calls her is being the voice when a voice is absent or suppressed, being the shield for those who can’t shield themselves, and being a leader when a leader is required.
In her free time, Addie enjoys theatre acting and design, live performing in a myriad of art styles, and playing video games.
