Rosanna Galbadón was newly elected to the Arizona State Legislature representing LD2 in 2012. Born in Bermuda, Rosanna has lived in Japan, the Philippines and Panama but has lived in Arizona since 1973. She moved to Sahuarita in 2004 from Tucson and served on the Towns Parks and Recreation Commission, and Economic Development Commission. Rosanna was elected to the Town Council in May 2009. Rosanna also serves on the South Pima Regional Partnership Council, First Things First, the Greater Green Valley Community Foundation, the Green Valley Community Food Bank Advisory Board and the Friends of the Green Valley Library Board.
How Rosanna has Helped Arizona
Rosanna Gabaldón motivates and coordinates individuals from all walks of life. She served on the Sahuarita Parks and Recreation Commission where she worked with the Town’s programs that involve families and children, as well as on the Sahuarita Economic Development Commission where she worked with Town staff, local businesses, and out-of-state business partners to explore opportunities for growth. Her priority on the Sahuarita Town Council was to preserve our local values, encourage development of sustainable water supplies, and to keep our community economically diversified and sustainable
