Linda Gross is a publisher, marketing consultant, journalist, photographer and entrepreneur. She is the founder, owner and operator of the Globe Miami Times, a community-based newspaper with a distribution of 59,000 print, digital and social media readers.
Linda has been actively involved in community issues and economic development for over a decade. She served on the of the United Fund of Globe-Miami, and in 2011 she led a successful grassroots effort to stop a private prison from locating in Globe. She is a passionate advocate for public education, environmental conservation, small businesses, accessible health care, and equal rights for all.
Linda was raised in Kansas and graduated from Kansas State University with a journalism degree in 1982. She has lived in Arizona for over 30 years, and previously ran her own commercial furniture resale and asset management company in Tucson.
