Running for Chandler Unified School Board.
Zeyna Pruzhanovsky was born in Alexandria, Virginia and was taught that serving where the need is greatest is the truest form of service. Growing up in the heart of Chicago with her mom, stepdad, and two sisters, education was always the focus of her life. She went on to earn her Business degree from the University of Kansas. She balanced being a wife and a mother, working on her degree, caring for her ailing mother, and providing for her family. Utilizing her skills in fiscal responsibility, she held a position in budgets and grants administration at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Her family relocated to Arizona for her younger children’s education, choosing Chandler and the Chandler Unified School District. Once here, she continued her education with an Education Masters from Arizona State University in 2014, and has worked as an educator since She has shared her love of learning as a teacher for seven years at Blackwater Community School with the Gila River Indian Community. She and her husband of 25 years, Val, share their love of family with four children and four grandchildren. They are proud parents of two CUSD students. .
