Tamara Floyd, born in Pomona California, moved to Phoenix Arizona in 1993, where she presently resides in the city of Goodyear for the past 20+ years. As the Outreach Director for the University of Arizona, Roosevelt Early Childhood Family Resource Center, she assists families with community resources, referrals and develops partnerships with community-based organizations and coalitions. Tamara represents diverse populations and is passionate about women’s rights, economic development, equal opportunity, and justice for all, as she has a strong community advocacy background and continues to serve her community. Tamara serves as an LD4 Precinct Committee Member, Chair of the Phoenix Human Services Commission, a member of the Travis L. Williams Community Council, and a member of the South Central Extension/Downtown Hub Construction Advisory Board.
