Olivia Elizondo Zepeda graduated from Arizona Western College with an Associate’s Degree, and took her first steps in education as a teacher’s assistant. She began her teaching career upon graduation from NAU and later earned a Master’s degree in Bilingual and Multicultural Education. Olivia served as Associate Superintendent for the Gadsden Elementary School District from 2000 to 2017 and had previously served the district as director of curriculum and staff development, director of federal projects, principal and teacher at the elementary and middle school. Olivia is currently retired and she serves on the Arizona Western College as Board of Trustees and Campesinos Sin Fronteras as a board member. Olivia has taught graduate and undergraduate classes at the university level and is fully bilingual in English and Spanish. Olivia has a passion for service and enjoys serving in agencies that provide assistance to children and adults for educational purposes. Currently Olivia serves as auditor
for Curriculum Management Systems Inc., and as a Job Analyst Coordinator for Educational Management Solutions in various states within the US.
