Dana Allmond is a 1994 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. Her more than 23 years of active duty service makes her uniquely qualified and prepared to become the next State House Representative for District 17. As a lifelong veteran advocate, Dana is Chair of the Southern Arizona Veterans Mental Health Advocacy Council, member of the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS) Veteran and Family Advisory Council, member of the SAVAHCS Organizational Experience Committee, and member of the national veteran led grassroots organization Common Defense. Dana lives by the code of honor she swore to uphold as a West Point cadet and the oath she took to protect the constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. She is a fighter who will go to the mat for the people of Arizona. With her whole heart, Dana will fight to protect human/civil rights starting with voting rights, restore public education funding, improve mental health care access and quality, rebuild our infrastructure, and most importantly, fight to restore honor and integrity to state lawmaking.
