Lisa Grove

Lisa Grove has been the lead strategist and pollster for political candidates, nonprofit organizations, corporations and labor unions for over 20 years. She has a reputation for providing rock-solid research, unique insight (hence the company name), and successful messaging, communications and outreach plans. She is known for fretting the details while never losing sight of the big picture. She has conducted much polling in Arizona and offers an in depth view of what matters to Arizona voters and the language they understand from candidates. And she almost always wins!

A political veteran with a deep personal commitment to electing pro-choice Democratic women to office, Lisa Grove–Founder and Principal at Grove Insight is pleased to offer Arizona List a full-day, in-depth workshop on strategic and effective message development. Among other things, Lisa will discuss:

  • Developing an authentic, values-based and personal message frame;
  • Translating your resume into effective message points;
  • Employing contrast with your opponent;
  • Identifying and avoiding what is not a message;
  • Unique message challenges and opportunities for women candidates;
  • Understanding the basics of research and the role it plays in message development;
  • Silencing the internal “whispers” that plague women candidates.

Registration Fee: $50
Must be a current member of Arizona List to register
Space will be limited in this workshop and we expect it will fill up quickly. Reserve your space early!

ACT NOW—2010—ARIZONA IN CRISIS

  • Reproductive rights at risk
  • Education on the chopping block
  • All-day kindergarten threatened

Is this the Arizona you envisioned? Arizona women have lost reproductive  freedom. Children’s education and services continue to be on the chopping  block. Guns are allowed in bars. Currently, Arizona has one of the highest  rates of job losses in the country. All of this is happening under conservative Republican leadership.
